That almost stopped me from having the surgery abroad, as I was afraid something might go wrong. But then, after a lot of googling, I somehow came across MedicalTravel.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I read a bit about it and then quickly made a consultation appointment. The best part is that you can meet the treating doctor in person first in Zug for a personal consultation. This eased my fears, and I could read about the doctor beforehand, including who he is, his experience, etc. After all, it\u2019s about the face, and you can\u2019t just show up at any random doctor\u2019s office.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I received an offer with all the costs pretty soon. In the end, everything, including the flight, cost CHF 4360. I would say that\u2019s a fair price when you consider how much such a procedure costs in Switzerland. I accepted the offer quite quickly, as everything seemed to fit for me.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we arrived at the airport in Istanbul, I received a message from an unfamiliar number right after landing, with directions and a picture of where I needed to go. There was a spot at the airport we had to head to first, where my personal details were taken. After that, the driver came and took us directly to the hospital for the preliminary examination and then to the hotel.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surgery was the next day. The driver picked us up on time as well. First, it was my sister&#8217;s turn, then mine. Everything went well. We always had an interpreter with us, which was essential since I don\u2019t speak Turkish. Unfortunately, not everyone at the hospital spoke English well, except for the treating doctor in my case.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Believe me when I say this:<br>This doctor knows EXACTLY what he\u2019s doing. I am incredibly satisfied with the result, and even though I experienced the worst pain of my life, I would still do it again without hesitation! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, everything was really well planned. We were truly glad that all three of us (my sister also had a nose job, and my boyfriend had hair surgery) got surgery appointments during the timeframe we had specified. It was the only week we could all take time off together. We didn\u2019t have to worry about anything and always had someone to contact if there was an issue\u2014whether it was MedicalTravel, the interpreter, or the doctor&#8217;s assistant.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here&#8217;s a tip for anyone who also wants to get a nose job&#8230; Don\u2019t do it alone. It&#8217;s best to bring a family member or a friend with you\u2014just someone who isn\u2019t getting the surgery. I really had no energy for anything and such pain.
