My experience in Istanbul for my breast surgery – Report from Thursday, 26 May 2016

I am a mother of 3 children, and with each child, my breasts became smaller and more saggy, which really bothered me. I always tried to hide it with push-up bras, but as soon as I took them off, reality would show again, and it became more and more frustrating.

I then discussed this with my friend, and together we arranged an appointment through Medical Travel for a consultation with Dr. Yazar in Mulhouse. During the consultation, it became clear to me that I wanted to go ahead with this and as quickly as possible. Dr. Yazar really convinced me, and I felt I was in good hands.

We then scheduled an appointment just 2 months later. I was absolutely amazed at how well everything was organized. We didn’t have to worry about anything.

We booked the flights and hotel on our own because that’s what we preferred.

When we arrived in Istanbul on 28th January 2016, a pick-up service was already waiting for us, and they took us to the hospital for the pre-surgery consultation.

Upon arriving at the hospital, we were warmly welcomed in our language. We then had a mammogram done and also had the pre-surgery consultation for the upcoming procedure the next day. We were thoroughly informed with every detail, and there were no more unanswered questions.

Afterward, we were taken to our hotel and then picked up on time the next morning. Perfect service!!!!

On 29th January 2016, the surgery took place. We were continuously accompanied and prepared for the procedure. The surgery went smoothly without any issues.

When I woke up, I was in a lot of pain. However, the pain subsided relatively quickly and became much more bearable. We then stayed another night in the hospital for observation. After the follow-up check-ups in the following days, we were taken back to the hotel, where we could rest for two more days and get familiar with our new silhouette.

I went from a cup size A to a cup size C. The implants were placed under the muscle.

It looks amazing, and I feel fantastic. Now, I can look at myself in the mirror without hesitation, and I’m more than satisfied. After these two days at the hotel, lying in bed, watching TV, and ordering room service, we were picked up for the final check-up before heading back home. Dr. Yazar was pleased with the results.

We were given some great tips and instructions: no lifting for 3 months (max. 4kg), no sports, no sun exposure, etc.

Once I got home, I followed the instructions carefully. With each passing week, the pain improved, I became more mobile, and I started to feel more and more like myself again.

And today, 4 months later, I’m doing everything again and feel absolutely amazing. My breasts look great. I’m thrilled with the excellent organization and the incredible work of Dr. Yazar.
