Experience report autologous hair transplantation in Istanbul- Turkey – Report from Monday, 10 August 2015
I flew from Zurich to Istanbul on January 26, 2015 and returned on January 29, 2015.
On January 26, 2015, I was greeted very kindly at the airport, then went directly to the Acibadem hospital, where I had a preventative examination, and PRP (to strengthen existing hair roots) was performed immediately.
The following day, 3,200 grafts were implanted. With PRP, you receive injections that cause pain, but it’s tolerable. The pain before the procedure is the same as with PRP.
You feel absolutely no pain during the procedure; you can hear the staff talking, nothing else. The treatment took about 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
On January 28, 2015, I had my follow-up appointment, and the doctor changed the dressing; everything went well. I was given care products and given detailed instructions on how to use them.
On January 29, 2015, I flew back home.
From January 30th, 2015, I started experiencing pain and my face became slightly swollen; I expect the pain to last for about 10 days.
The lotion and shampoo provided by the hospital should be used daily for 14 days.
MedicalTravel provided me with very professional advice and made me feel very well supported.
I would have such a procedure done with MedicalTravel again anytime; I have complete confidence in MedicalTravel.
Best regards
