My breast lift in Istanbul April 2015 – Report from Thursday, 27 August 2015
For a long time, it was my wish to have beautiful breasts. So, I went searching on the internet and came across MedicalTravel.
I contacted them shortly afterwards via email and received a very quick response with an appointment for a consultation in Zurich. That was very helpful. The warm welcome, the excellent organisation, and especially the treating doctor, who answered all my questions, gave me the confidence to choose this company and make my dream come true in Istanbul.
After a brief consideration, I confirmed that I would like to go ahead with the surgery. Everything was organised for me very quickly. From the flight to the hotel, everything was perfectly arranged, including a personalised schedule with the time, location, date, and the most beautiful sights of Istanbul.
It was April, and the journey to beautiful Istanbul began. Upon arriving at the airport, we (my friend accompanied me) were warmly greeted and taken to the hotel. I was also called again to check if we had landed safely and to go over the remaining details for the next day.
The next day (the day of the surgery), we were transferred directly to the hospital. There, everyone was very kind and professional. We were assigned a German-speaking interpreter. She was simply wonderful.
I was examined again by the doctor (the same one I had met in Zurich). I completely trusted him because of his professional manner, which showed me that this was not his first time doing this.
The surgery was over, and I was taken to my room. The pain was quite intense, but the hospital staff took excellent care of me. They also looked after my companion very well. This wouldn’t have been the case in Switzerland.
After 2 days, I was back on my feet and even strong enough to explore the beautiful Istanbul. I never thought it would be possible to recover so quickly.
We stayed there for a week. On the last day, I had another check-up with the doctor. The interpreter was with us the whole time. He gave me the green light for the flight back to Switzerland.
Once I arrived home, I obviously had to continue resting. My treating doctor later wrote to me to check how I was doing and how the results of the surgery were looking. I was really impressed by this, as it shows that I wasn’t forgotten even after about 2 months.
Medical Travel helped me regain my self-esteem. Everything was perfectly organised and planned. Despite the pain that such a surgery brings, I would definitely do it again with them and would highly recommend them to others.
