PREPARATION FOR THE EXAMINATIONS:

- Please refrain from eating anything for 10-12 hours before your appointment. During this time, please drink nothing but water.
- If you are (possibly) pregnant, please contact your doctor.
- Please do not take any medications containing iron or vitamin C.
- Do not consume foods such as red meat, licorice, beetroot, spinach, chard, radish and broccoli for the 2 days prior to the examination.
- In women, the examinations should not be carried out during menstruation.
- If you already have other test and examination results, please bring them with you to the appointment.
- If your chosen program includes a stress ECG, you must not take the following medications before the stress ECG:
a) Medications that must be discontinued 1 day before the exercise ECG:
Beta-blockers (Tensinor, Beloc, Concor, etc.)
Calcium channel blockers (Isoptin, Diltizem, etc.)
Nitrates (Monoket, Monolong, etc.)
b) Medications that must be discontinued 1 day before the exercise ECG:
Digoxin
- Please bring sportswear and shoes if you are having a stress ECG.
