Dental implants
Oral implantation refers to the insertion of artificial tooth roots into the jawbone. After healing, these then serve to anchor artificial dental prostheses (crowns, bridges, or dentures).
The implants are made of biocompatible materials (titanium) that are well-tolerated by the jawbone. They can remain in the jawbone for 10 years or more. However, a guarantee cannot be given in every individual case. A healing period of several months is usually necessary before the implants can bear weight. The implant type is selected based on your specific situation and the existing jawbone structure (measurements, etc.).

The crown
If deep caries has led to significant loss of the tooth crown, or if damage has occurred due to an accident, it is often no longer possible to repair the tooth with a filling. Unlike a filling, which is anchored within the tooth, a crown covers parts or all of the portion of the tooth that protrudes into the oral cavity, thus restoring its shape and sufficient stability; in the visible area, it also provides a nearly natural appearance.

Bridges
If there are gaps in a dentition, these should be closed if possible in order to restore full chewing function and, in addition, to achieve an attractive appearance in the visible area and to be able to perform the speech function properly.

Tooth color varies from person to person depending on the density of the protein layer in the teeth. The most common cause of tooth discoloration today is age-related. Other causes include consuming beverages containing dyes (coffee, tea, cola, etc.), smoking, dental trauma, old dentures, veneers, and amalgam fillings. Long-term use of antibiotics (such as tetracyclines) and excessive fluoride intake can also lead to tooth discoloration.
