Why you can benefit from treatment in Turkey
In Turkey, you are at the heart of reproductive medicine. For the past 17 years, the country has demonstrated a very high success rate in fertility treatments.
Why is that?
Gynecological and oncological surgeries are not only performed by highly experienced and well-trained doctors, but they are also conducted at the highest level. The doctors have completed their training in the USA and Western Europe, where they have also treated patients and gathered valuable experience and further education.
If ICSI, assisted hatching, or blastocyst transfer is necessary for your treatment, it will be performed without any additional costs.
There is the possibility of transferring up to three embryos.
The cost factor is a very common reason why many couples are unable to consider IVF. However, with treatment in Turkey, your costs will be significantly lower compared to treatment in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria.
Why is the pregnancy rate higher with IVF and ICSI?
You are probably wondering why there is a higher pregnancy rate for IVF and ICSI than in Switzerland or Germany.
In these countries, there is a law that allows the culture of only three zygotes, which results in a maximum of three embryos being created. The transfer is usually performed on the 2nd or 3rd day. However, there is no option to select embryos with the best possible quality. This means that the selection of embryos from a pool, as well as the possibility of blastocyst culture and preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), is not available.
According to Turkish law, blastocyst culture is possible. This allows for an increase in the pregnancy rate (up to a factor of 2) and the implantation rate (up to 50% per blastocyst) with just 1-2 blastocysts. The ability to select embryos in this way not only leads to a high pregnancy rate but also results in lower miscarriage rates. Simply put, not only are the chances of pregnancy increased, but the chances of a successful pregnancy are also enhanced!
There are couples who are genetically “pre-disposed” and, for example, already have a child with a disability detectable through preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD). For these couples, we can help them have a child without the same disability by applying preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).
The average pregnancy rates at these hospitals:
For women under 35 years old, pregnancy rate = 50 – 60%
For women under 40 years old, pregnancy rate = 40%
For women over 40 years old, pregnancy rate = 25%
Important notice:
According to Turkish law, fertility treatments in Turkey are only permitted for married couples. Sex selection is also prohibited.
