HAIR TRANSPLANTATION FUE FOR MEN – Turkey – Istanbul – Antalya
Hair Transplantation – A sensible solution for hair loss
If hair loss is hereditary or hormonally induced, hair falls out in the areas of the hairline, the temples, and the back crown area. However, the unaffected hair roots in the hair crown area remain intact. Modern hair transplantation takes advantage of this by intelligently redistributing the hair roots, achieving a permanently natural hair growth.
Hair transplantation has developed rapidly in recent years. Thanks to modern microsurgical techniques, it is now possible to remove your own hair follicles from densely haired areas and transplant them into bald spots.
Aesthetic results at the highest level.
The best result – where the procedure is completely unnoticeable – can only be achieved by a professional specialist. These are medical experts with their assistants who have spent years working on hair loss and its treatment.
Once transplanted, hair follicles produce healthy hair for a lifetime, making hair transplantation a permanent solution. The impressive result: after the superficial healing phase is completed, the implanted hair follicles begin to produce new, healthy, strong hair within two to three months, which will be maintained for a lifetime. The new hair can be cut, washed, blow-dried, permed, and dyed just like natural hair.
In the hair clinics in Turkey, the latest methods for autologous hair transplantation (hair transplant) are applied. Some examples include:
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
The FUE treatment is not only the latest hair transplant technique in Turkey but also worldwide. In this method, living hair follicles are detached from the hair-bearing areas of the head and then implanted into the bald spots. This results in a very natural outcome. The FUE treatment used in hair transplantation is the most modern method available today.
The difference between FUE and FUT treatments lies in the way the grafts are extracted. In FUE, the grafts are taken directly from the hair follicle in the skin. Since no lancets or scalpels are used for extraction, no scars are left at these sites. As a result, you can see full hair growth within a short period. Both techniques, however, use the same implantation process, with the only difference being in the extraction of the grafts. Ultimately, both hair transplant methods lead to the desired outcome.
When should the FUE (FOLLICLE UNIT EXTRACTION) method be chosen?
The FUE method is better suited if you want to wear your hair short (shorter than 0.5 cm) after the hair growth has been established, as no visible scar remains at the extraction site.
Sometimes, there may not be enough donor area on the scalp for a hair transplant. In such cases, the FUE method allows for hair transplants using hair from other parts of the body. Naturally, these must also be the person’s own hair. Over time, the transplanted body hair adjusts to the characteristics of the surrounding scalp hair to some extent. Furthermore, the FUE technique is particularly recommended for younger individuals with elastic skin, as it enhances the success and comfort of the procedure.
Phases of FUE treatment:
- The hair on the back of the neck is shaved before the hair transplant. This prepares a larger area.
- The hair extraction sites are locally anesthetized.
- Now the hair follicles are being extracted.
- It is sometimes necessary to carry out treatments over several days until the desired number of grafts is reached.
- The hair follicles are then surgically implanted.
How long does the treatment take?
Such a treatment takes approximately 3-5 hours. Typically, a period of about 2 days should be planned for the entire hair transplant. However, this may vary from person to person. Please send the following photos to info@medicaltravel.net so a treatment plan can be made:
From the front, head slightly bent,
From the side,
