Distinguishing a 10-rappen coin from a 20-rappen coin – report from Wednesday, 25 April 2012
My desire for better vision was so great. I hadn’t worn glasses yet, but always needing reading glasses for SMS messages, price tags, newspapers, and much more had significantly limited my quality of life. I decided to have laser surgery in Istanbul. My friend, who lives in Istanbul and encouraged me, supported me greatly. Her daughter, mother, and even her little nephew (who was two months old at the time) had been successfully treated in the same clinic. That’s why I chose Turkey.
I then came across Swisslasik. I can only recommend this organisation. Mr Karaagacli gave me excellent information and organised an appointment. We arrived very punctually at the hospital. The clinic is located in a beautiful area with a view of a mosque. The hospital made a great impression on me—very clean and professionally run, Acibadem Clinic.
The preliminary examinations started soon after. They simply take a lot of time, which must be factored in. We arrived at the clinic at 8 a.m. and left only at 6 p.m. But it is worth the time. Do not become impatient or nervous. It’s worth it. Today, I feel like a first-grader discovering reading. It’s really fun to distinguish a 10-rappen coin from a 20-rappen coin, to read the smallest print. I am incredibly grateful to be able to see 100% again. I can even notice the tiniest speck of dust. The operation was very successful.
During the surgery, I felt a bit uncomfortable. I couldn’t see the center or understand what they meant… but the others experienced the same. If that happens to you too, focus on the green dot. After the operation, I couldn’t open my eyes for about an hour. I had strong tearing, but no pain or burning. Once I could open my eyes again, I felt absolutely wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I can only recommend it.
