My trip to Antalya, Turkey from 29/09/2023 to 06/10/2023, dental treatment organised by MedicalTravel

I chose MedicalTravel because they are based in Switzerland. For me, they served as a link to the clinic in Turkey. Shortly after my enquiry, I received three quotations. One of them immediately appealed to me. Everything was clearly described and the procedure was explained in detail. In this quotation I was addressed personally by name, which gave me a very good feeling.

Until then, Turkey as a country was unfamiliar to me, as was the language. The only knowledge I had came from my experiences with Turkish culture here in Switzerland. Of course, the food counts, dürüm is one of my favourite dishes and so is börek. I am also an absolute fan of cologne water.

BUT I was a 1000% anxious patient and had been looking for a clinic for three years that would also fit my budget. I am not talking about cheap tourism, but about good value for money for the working class. People who appreciate what good work is and who are patient when necessary. Because everything is done step by step and everyone does their best.

The organisation was perfect, the only thing I needed was WhatsApp so that the clinic could contact me. I provided MedicalTravel with my details and the time I was ready, and they planned everything from the hotel to the airport transfer and the treatment at the clinic.

The driver was warm and helpful, he spoke English and safely took me to the check-in at the reserved hotel. There I was accompanied to my room just as helpfully. When I was in the room, I received a WhatsApp message from the clinic. The first appointment was already the next day and the driver was organised. Perfekt:)

This all-round service gave me a really good feeling. I was in the right place and everything was perfect for me. I knew that this allowed me to fully focus on the treatment. The hotel room was clean and had a small balcony where you could sit and relax. I used it to unwind and simply be. In the surrounding area, there was a park where you could walk right by the sea. It had many benches inviting you to linger. I see the relaxation factor in Antalya as a major added bonus.

My conclusion about the trip: I would do it again anytime!

About the hotel: everyone was friendly and helpful, there was also staff at the reception who spoke German, the lobby is cosy and inviting, very clean. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection and was fresh.

The hotel room: clean, spacious, quiet, and with a comfortable bed

Transport service: polite, helpful, pleasant driver

Clinic: modern, clean, friendly
The interpreter was always on site, everything was as discussed and agreed, no additional costs, drinks were provided, the medication was included, despite my dental anxiety I felt comfortable at the clinic

Dentist: competent, calm and pleasant personality, knew exactly what he was doing

MedicalTravel: I gladly recommend, a great all-round package

Antalya: incredibly beautiful, both the landscape and the people on site simply wonderful
