My patient review of my breast implant surgery in Istanbul

The topic of breast augmentation had been on my mind for years. When I decided to go through with it, I consulted with friends and researched online to find out who performs the best breast surgeries, and I came across Turkey. That’s when I found MedicalTravel almost immediately on Google. Before the treatment, I also had a consultation in Switzerland with Prof. Dr. Kayıran. Even then, I noticed a high level of discretion, and there was also an interpreter present. My questions and needs were addressed, and I felt comfortable. This is when I decided to book my treatment.

When my partner and I arrived in Istanbul, the pick-up service met us at a less noticeable stand with a sign reading “Guide 1.” It was the same driver the entire time, and he was very attentive and friendly. Even after the treatment, he drove very carefully, as the poor road conditions caused me some pain. He was always punctual and even waited when necessary. It felt a bit like a limousine service, and I really liked it.

On the day of the surgery, there were blood tests and other health checks early in the morning, as well as discussions about any potential illnesses, medications, and so on. Then, another conversation with the surgeon took place. I never had to wait long, and soon after, everything began. Everyone took great care of me from A to Z.

I felt very comfortable in the hospital, even though I’m not fond of being in one. They listened to me when I needed more pain medication or anything else. The Google Translate app was really helpful, and most people spoke English as well. The best part was that my partner was allowed to stay the one night that I had to spend there, free of charge. No extra costs. They even provided a bed for him and food.

After that, we were allowed to return to the hotel. The service there was also top-notch, the staff was very friendly, and the buffet as well as the restaurant menu were delicious. The location was great too, as there were many things just around the corner, so I could still do some shopping and experience a bit of the culture.

The treatment and the result have left me very satisfied. I received everything necessary for the healing process. I also saw the doctor again before returning home and will meet him again in Switzerland for a follow-up check. So far, I am very happy with the value for money. I can’t imagine anything better.
