The top service began with the very friendly and competent advice from Mr Karaagacli in Switzerland, who always treated me courteously and never tried to persuade me to take any step, which I greatly appreciated. In Istanbul, it continued: immediately upon my arrival, I was picked up by a very personable Turkish driver, who took me and my two companions directly to the Levent Hotel in a nice new car. The hotel was excellent—centrally located, and the surrounding area was perfect. A shopping center was nearby, and in the Swisslasik pass I received shortly before departure, I found valuable tips for sightseeing, entertainment, and restaurants in Istanbul.
The next day it began: just as quickly as the pre-examination took place in the morning, I underwent the surgery in the afternoon. The procedure was brief and relatively painless. I remained very calm because a personal assistant who spoke German was assigned to me! The doctor was also very nice and always smiling. Everything went by quickly, so I did not even have time to become nervous! This was very good, because even four hours after the surgery, I was able to go out for a meal with my two companions, of course wearing sunglasses.
The next day, I was already healthy enough that after the follow-up examination—which went perfectly—I could explore Istanbul with my two companions. The result is perfect!
